This article illustrates how to connect your "full access" Exchange account with Outlook. The tool creates a secure connection to our Exchange server.




  1. To set up Outlook 2007 with Full Access (using RPC over HTTPS), the first thing you need to do is to download the rpcsetup_Outlook2007 file available at the bottom of this article.

  2. Once the file has downloaded, open the file from either your browser or downloads folder.  This will open the file in a new window.

  3. In the new window, double-click on the rpcsetup_Outlook2007 script file.

  4. Click the Yes button to continue.

  5. Enter the email address of the account you are configuring, and click OK.

  6. Click OK when prompted to restart Outlook.  If Outlook is currently running, close and re-open it.  Otherwise, start your Outlook client

  7. When you first open Outlook, you will be prompted to enter your username (Full email address) and password. You will then be prompted again. If you are not prompted for a username and password, then something in Outlook is blocking you from setting everything up. It is most likely a plug in such as a anti virus software or Google Desktop. Please disable these immediately.

After the second prompt, Outlook will configure local files for first use.  Once this has completed the Outlook program will open and being downloading your content from the server.  It may take awhile to download everything off of the Exchange Server depending on the size of your mailbox.

If you are unable to log into OWA, please contact your system administrator as soon as possible to confirm the username, password, and access level that was given to you.
